Red Viburnum

This sweater is inspired by Red Viburnum (Kalyna in Ukrainian) - a berry-bearing plant that’s often portrayed as Ukraine itself in Ukrainian folk songs. The sweater is worked from the top down, in the round, seamlessly. This construction allows the maker to try on the project as they are working on it, enabling them to fit the garment to their unique body. The sweater is adorned with colorwork on the yoke, and above the sleeves. The larger gauge and plump yarn lets you make a very warm sweater, very quickly!
