Cake Crop

Cake Crop is designed to be a summer garment with plenty of ease in the body as well as the sleeves. It’s adorned with interesting colorwork and details. Knit from the bottom up, without seaming. Easy to style and can be layered when the cold weather hits!

The crop is worked from the bottom up, starting with in the round fisherman’s rib and continued with a fun colorwork motif. The front and back are then split and worked flat with intarsia colorwork on the two front yoke sides. After finishing the front and back yokes, kitchener stitch is used to join at the shoulders. Then, stitches are picked up and worked to create a neckband. Finally, sleeve sts are picked up and worked in the round to make sleeves.
